Staying in one of the rustic wooden cabanas in Kalpitiya is an eco-friendly and sustainable way to spend your holiday. The cabanas each have an outdoor shower and a hammock. They are strong constructions made from regional resources like coconut wood and palm leaves, and the illumination is provided by solar energy.

The three private cabanas in Ruuk Village were designed to reflect the straightforward way of life of a family of fisherman. You may get a real sense of what it's like to live in a normal Sri Lankan fisherman's home by spending your vacations there.

Each cabana offers:

  • its own private terrace / sitting area

  • Own private open air shower experience

  • can be occupeid as a double / shared or single

Our coconut plantation's cabanas are dispersed throughout it to provide you plenty of room and peace. Travelers seeking to experience the "Art of Sri Lankan" way of life authentically would love these cabanas. The majority locals in the area continue to live in homes made of local natural materials found near where they work and reside.
