WILPATTU NATIONAL PARK SAFARI - TWO DAYS / ONE NIGHT or half day

Two Days / One Night:

  • Leave by boat to Willpatu and spend a night in the Wilpattu area in an eco based small guest house. very personal and authentic to suite Ruuk Village's overall concept.

  • You are picked up by a boat after breakfast at Ruuk Village entrance

  • You are then taken by boat to the point where safari jeep will pick you up

  • Spend the afternoon within the Wilapttu national park

    • Entrance tickets are covered

    • Water and a refreshments.

  • You are bought back to our partner "Eco oriented accommodation" within the wilpattu national park area

  • Enjoy a fish BBQ with a bon fire and some traditional music

    • Spend the night.

  • Sri Lankan authentic breakfast in the morning

  • After breakfast visit "Kala oya" to spend the morning hours

  • Lunch is served at the river ( optional ) or return back to Ruuk Village for lunch

    • Begin your adventure at 10:30 am at Ruwala Village, where you’ll be greeted and picked up by a private boat at the Ruuk Village entrance.

  2. Boat Ride to Gange Wadiya:

    • Enjoy a scenic boat ride to Gange Wadiya, where you'll disembark to continue your journey on land. This is where the first transition takes place as you step off the boat and prepare to traverse the park.

  3. Van Ride to the Safari Jeep:

    • You are then taken by TukTuk across the bridge, a short journey that brings you to your safari jeep. The van ride offers a moment of tranquility before the excitement of the safari begins.

  4. Jeep Safari:

    • The jeep will take you to the second entrance of Wilpattu National Park. The rugged terrain and lush landscapes begin to unfold before you as you make your way to the heart of the park.

  5. Tickets and Entrance:

    • Upon arriving at the park entrance, the jeep driver takes care of purchasing the necessary tickets, ensuring a smooth entry for you and your fellow adventurers.

  6. The Safari Experience:

  7. Return Journey:

    • By 16:00 hrs, the latest, you will head back to the bridge via van, marking the end of your safari exploration.
